Generational imprints

An insight is coming through today. Its wispy yet I feel its essence.

Another level of liberation to be had.

We choose our bodies.

This made me feel there must be a deeper reason to why we do so.

When we think about our bodies, we think of the most obvious representation – our physical body.

But our physical body is only one aspect of this body.

The layers of the energy body is what is meant by ” we choose our body”.

Why is this important ?

Because it takes away the separation at another level.

On the earth plane, there has so far been a ” time bound – linear narrative ” of a souls journey.

Where the concept of past lives, generational trauma, generational habits, generational blocks comes into play.

When we ” choose ” a body, we actually choose a narrative.

For example take the different houses or teams in a school. Take the example of Harry Potter and the different houses in Hogwarts. Each house had a specific narrative. And those that joined a house, became a part of that narrative.

They inherited its positives as well as its negatives. However each member had a choice. They could choose ( free will ) how they carried forward the legacy.

What each member did then, became a part of that house’s legacy. How they acted, what values they imbibed, what they evolved from and let go off, affected the ” legacy ” of that house.

Similarly we as individual souls are all pure souls in our essence.

However in order to evolve we choose narratives.

So we choose our body in every lifetime. Which means we are choosing a linear narrative.

Ive often wondered about generational trauma.

If Im stuck with generational trauma, is it because Im born into the same family over and over again ? That does not feel true to me.

However if we look at it as a collective experience then it sort of makes sense.

There is a pool of experiences or narratives.

We choose the ones that help our highest growth. Like choosing a role literally.
But in forgetting our true nature, we assume the role so much that we feel its tough to separate ourself from its narrative.

We look at generational karma as being our own individual karma.
Hence ” the sins of the fathers will be visited on the sons” or something like that.

But actually we have CHOSEN the narrative.

Which means we feel capable of transmuting that bit of karma and take that collective narrative forward.

Which is also why we are taught that as long as we focus on our own individual path and strive to do the best we can with it, we help the collective.

There are many implications of this understanding.

But what strikes me at the moment is a sense of relief.

That we are not bound by the generational narrative of our families.
We can let go easier of generational ” illnesses” , ” fears ” , ” phobias” even desires or ambitions.

Habits or things our ” ancestors ” did.

By not taking it so personally.

By not assuming that things beyond your control have passed down to you because of a ” bloodline”

We choose these ” bloodlines ” and the narratives.

This even gives us the ” liberation ” from what we perceive to be our ” past lives ” and explains my previous insight of choosing timelines based on our focus.

Whilst this may be an experience that has been had as a part of the linear narrative, it is a part of the collective and in your current avatar, you have merely chosen it ( like a backstory) and now you have the opportunity to move past it

If we liberate ourselves from the narrative that we have chosen….our children have a chance to do the same.

Ironically, even this narrative of being bound to a narrative is propagated until your fear of being ” nothing ” dissipates.

Fear/ Ego wants you to “belong” ..to be a part of something…..anything that makes you feel that you exist.

Good, bad, it does not care.

It fears oblivion.
