A subtle theme that is showing up to be acknowledged and worked through or perhaps just be released is that of subtle bias.
As we walk the path of self realisation, with more awareness and consciousness, the first things we start to release are the more obvious conditioning and belief systems we have carried, that cause us to go into separation and judgement.
These are relatively easier to let go off as they cause huge suffering and pain within us, because of the huge amount of resistance they create.
However as we continue to grow in awareness, finally the more subtle blindspots start to come to the surface.
The subtle bias comes in when we unconsciously judge others when they don’t think like us or they show up in ways we would not.
We have to be very finely tuned in to our own energy body, in order to notice these biases, either within us or in those we are interacting with.
Even when we think we are very accepting and non judgemental, we still have these very subtle judgements. We may not say these out loud or even
” think them out loud”, but they affect our energy nevertheless.
In order to refine ourselves, to align ourselves to our highest nature….these need to be seen and let go off.
Sometimes we may pick up on others subtle biases too and if we have had a history of moulding ourselves in order to fit in to be safe, then we may unconsciously adjust our behaviour so that we are ” approved ” of by those having these subtle biases towards us.
When we notice this habitual instinct of protection, thats the time to go inwards and align again to our truest nature.
To have the courage to not be affected by another’s subtle bias and still be able to be ourselves and more importantly be able to still keep our hearts open and loving.
This does not mean that we ignore the information that is being brought to us about not only our own bias (which we have control over and therefore can release) but also that others are subtly directing towards us (which is not our business and should not be taken personally at all).
This information helps in discerning what we want to keep in our experience and what we choose to minimise, all the while not falling into the vicious cycle of going back into judgement.
