The grand illusion plays out with or without your participation.
You have no control over how it is playing out, but you do control how you perceive what is playing out.
That is the whole point.
The illusion plays out—with or without you.
How you experience this playing out depends upon you.
You either get sucked right into it—churned, tossed about, going through a zillion deaths—until finally, only your true essence remains.
Or,
You choose to wake up to it being an illusion.
Therefore, you consciously seek your own essence, because in waking up, you realise that the whole point of this elaborate illusion was for you to wake up to your truth.
This choice is your free will.
Free will is not about exercising control over the grand illusion to make it conform to your comfort and expectations.
It is about aligning to the will of Source despite the drama of the illusion.
It is about not losing touch with your inner compass—your heart.
It is about not losing touch with your essence—the love that is ever-present inside you.
It is about not losing sight of your blessings—no matter the storms that seemingly rage around you.
